Shambhunath Institute of Law was established with the object of imparting quality
legal education to the students in rural area at affordable cost under the able
guidance of Dr. K. K. Tewari, Secretary, Utthan. Our institute is approved by the Bar
Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya)
University, Prayagraj.
Shambhunath Institute of law is also listed in All India Survey on Higher Education
(AISHE, Ref: C-59041-2017) which is under the Ministry of Human Resource
Development, New Delhi. The institute presently offers Five year B.A. LL.B.(Hon's.) course.
institute lays emphasis on clinical legal education by conducting moot courts,
mock trials and legal literacy camps in nearby villages. We also provide
scholarships to the meritorious students. In order to develop the advocacy skills
among the students, the theory papers are blended with practical sessions which
will help the students in future in court practice.
Moot Court Society and Legal Aid Clinic is also established by the institute.
Grievance Cell is also established for prompt redressal of grievances of the
students. In order to improve the quality of teaching and learning and other
services provided, the institutellainly on performance of the students in
academics, sports and cultural activities along with maintaining high values and
ethics. We are proud to say that our students are doing excellent in academics,
sports and cultural activities with high values and ethics. Our institute promotes
ethical and value-based learning to foster the spirit of national development to
inculcate cross cultural sensitization.
