Shambhunath Institute of Law (SIL), Prayagraj, takes immense pride in presenting the 2nd NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2026.
Following the successful commencement of the competition in 2022, the second edition seeks to carry forward the same spirit of academic excellence, advocacy and practical legal learning while providing a broader and more challenging platform for law students from across the nation.
The Competition is being organised in the honour of Late Pt. Kanhaiya Lal Misra, a distinguished jurist and eminent lawyer whose contribution to the legal fraternity continues to inspire generations of aspiring legal professionals.
The Competition aims to provide participating teams with an enriching and intellectually stimulating environment to develop and demonstrate their legal research, analytical reasoning, written advocacy, oral advocacy and courtroom skills. It seeks to bring together promising law students from different institutions and provide them with an opportunity to engage with complex legal questions in a competitive yet academically enriching setting.
The Competition further endeavours to promote the values of research, advocacy, critical thinking, professional ethics and excellence in legal education, while encouraging participants to learn from one another and from the distinguished members of the legal fraternity associated with the event.
We warmly welcome law schools, universities and institutions from across India to participate in the 2nd NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2026 and become a part of this continuing academic endeavour of Shambhunath Institute of Law.
The Competition promises a challenging moot proposition, rigorous rounds of advocacy and an intellectually stimulating experience for every participating team.
